Hyundai has launched the Santro Anniversary Edition in the Indian market. The Hyundai Santro Anniversary Edition has been launched to celebrate the first anniversary of the new Santro. The new Hyundai Santro was launched in India on October 23, 2018. The Hyundai Santro Anniversary Edition is priced at ₹5.17 lakh for the manual variant and ₹5.74 lakh for the AMT model. Both prices are ex-showroom (Delhi).
The Hyundai Santro Anniversary Edition is based on the mid-spec Sportz trim and the special edition model is available in two colour options: Aqua Teal and Polar White. The Santro Anniversary Edition is dearer by ₹10,000 as compared to the standard Sportz variant of the hatchback.
The Hyundai Santro Anniversary Edition comes with features such as Gun Metal Grey Wheel cover, blacked-out door handles and ORVMs. The interior of the hatchback features an all-black theme with Aqua Teal for the front AC vents and new fabric seat upholstery. Apart from that, the hatchback also gets glossy black roof rails, Anniversary Edition badging, chrome garnish on the boot lid and side body moulding.
The Hyundai Santro Anniversary Edition draws power from the same 1.1-litre petrol engine that produces 69bhp and 99Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. The Hyundai Santro has been performing well in the Indian market, considering the sales slowdown.
