Mitsubishi is all set to reveal the new 2019 Pajero Sport facelift. Now, Mitsubishi has teased the Pajero Sport facelift, ahead of its unveiling on July 25, 2019, in Thailand. The currently sold third-gen Mitsubishi Pajero Sport was launched back in 2015 and the ladder-frame SUV was due for an update.
The teaser reveals several details of the Pajero Sport facelift. On the design front, the updated SUV will feature Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield design language. The facelifted Pajero Sport will feature redesigned front grille, sleek headlamps and angular LED DRLs. The fog lamps have been repositioned below the headlamps.
Apart from that the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport facelift also features new tail light cluster and a new digital instrument cluster. Mitsubishi has not revealed any other details about the updated Pajero Sport. We expect the SUV to come with new comfort and convenience features.
The India-spec Mitsubishi Pajero Sport facelift is expected to draw power from a BS-VI compliant 2.4-litre four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine churning out 179bhp and 430Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox with the four-wheel-drive system as standard. When launched in India, the facelifted Pajero Sport will rival the likes of Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.
