Royal Enfield has launched an affordable variant of the Classic 350 in the Indian market. The new variant is named as Royal Enfield Classic 350 S and it is priced at ₹1.45 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). Royal Enfield has already launched the affordable variant of the Bullet, which is named as Bullet 350 S.
The newly launched Royal Enfield Classic 350 S is cheaper by ₹9,000 as compared to the standard Classic 350. The Classic 350 S misses out on chrome treatment and dual-channel ABS to keep the costs down. The Classic 350 S gets single-channel ABS which works only on the front wheel.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 S features a blacked-out theme with most of the components finished in black. The blacked-out parts of the Classic 350 S include engine, mudguards, rearview mirror stalks and spoke wheel rims. The motorcycle is offered in two colour options: Mercury Silver and Pure Black. The motorcycle also gets a new decal on the fuel tank as opposed to the regular badging.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 S draws power from the same 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 19.8bhp and 28Nm of torque. Currently, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 S is available in select states in Southern India and it will be soon launched in other parts of the country.
